Just think of all the taxes that're collected on $1.10 more /gal.

Where's the incentive for the state to investigate price gouging?

Every year it's something.

The state and the Feds make more in revenue from gas taxes than oil companies make in profit.

Makes you wonder who actually benefits the most with price increases.

Plenty of greed to go around. The article & comments on gasbuddy.com about ca & the high gas increase are alarming.

I paid $3.34 a gallon yesterday (diesel fuel was $2.96). A barrel of oil has dropped to approx. $48.00. It sucks how we are always getting screwed in ca. I am not looking forward to the long, hot & dry summer. The nation avg is $2.45 for a gallon of gas.

We have not had a decent winter in years & the summers are long, hot & dry. I like change & would welcome 4 seasons if I was retired & didn't have to drive to work or work outdoors.

Gas has dropped to $3.10 a gallon. I have noticed a barrel of oil going up though.

There's got to be a conspiracy in there somewhere, steel. What are your thoughts?
