Many posts on this forum beg to differ. The ban is represented as one of the most outrageous intrusions on freedom since slavery was banned. It's time to stop the oppression by fleeing in droves and leave the smoking ruins to the shameless environmentalists and their obsequious political puppet lackeys.

I heard on the radio this morning that since the plastic bag ban repeal has enough signatures to qualify for the ballot that the ban may be recended.

^ But even if it passes, it won't change the fact that more than 130 cities and counties in the state also have their own local ordinances.

BTW, the LA Times just came out with a recap and description of a lot of those new laws, and it's pretty hard to find fault with most 'em. I mean what's really not to like about stuff like new fracking regs, or preventing forced prison sterilizations, internet "revenge porn", and more data collection by the feds? Of course then again you can always move to Oklahoma, where fracking is so unregulated, they have more earthquakes than we do!

California's new laws for 2015: How are you affected?

What don't you get about "more" laws? They are "more"! Doesn't matter if they serve the public's interest, or even if they protect our environment or personal freedoms! This adding laws is an affront to our sensibilities! If the feds want to surreptitiously snoop on me, I'll deal with them myself! Me and my AK!

As for revenge porn, if I want to post pictures of my girlfriend fracking for oil in her backyard how is that Sacramento's business?

Geez, Tule, I'm starting to think maybe your boat looks more like Ted Kaczynski's cabin, albeit more "portable" (well bah-humbug, and Happy New Year to 'ya anyway)!!

Well, anyone really that worried about "personal freedoms" these days, should probably start with their cellphone and IP address… which ain't that hard to track!
