You mean the same way most liberals on this forum call anyone even slightly right of center a "tea bagger"? Actually, the definition of communism is "a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party." That sounds awfully liberal to me....

Um, no. Not like that. What you refer to in lefties equating all conservatives to tea baggers is called hyperbole. An exaggeration.

What Ruth is referring to is two ideologically incompatible positions being incorrectly identified as the same.

Nope not really liberal at all. Does North Korea strike anyone as a liberal place?

How do lawmakers in control of CA with pure disregard for the constitution and Federal law differ much? Do you know how many CA laws put in place by liberal dictators here have been overturned in Federal courts for being unconstitutional? Look it up sometime, its quite shocking. There are dozens just in regards to gun control alone. Thats only the ones that have made it to Federal courts too, there are plenty still being processed.

Still with the gun control.....

What are some of the non-gun-control laws CA has passed, that were overruled as unconstitutional?
What "dictators"? Do you know what a dictator is? People who throw these terms around have never lived in the Soviet Union, or under Ceausescu, or Castro, or any North Korean leader. OH, I know a good one--Robert Mugabe! If you'd had any of those experiences, or known anyone who had, you wouldn't be throwing those terms around so lightly. Same with the term, "leftist". Most people have no idea how scary the real left can be.

Personally, if they have term limits for presidents, they should have them for senators and congress, too. Boxer is 74, Feinstein is 81. 'Bout time Boxer moved over and let someone else get their claws into the state. Maybe Feinstein will be next. They're like barnacles on the bottom of a ship. Time to scrape the hull so it won't sink, altogether.
Do you live in California? Boxer is a Senator, not a Representative. Her "district" is statewide. So you live in her district.
