So. Still in the Bay after all. Couldn't leave. Love it too much.

I did take the slip for my boat in San Diego. Moving it down first week of April. Getting another boat to keep in the San Francisco slip. Split my time between the cities as mood dictates. Driving back into SF each of my trips away, I was just overcome by the magnetism this place holds me in. Inescapable love affair.

One of my best friends lived in San Diego for awhile and I loved to visit her there. I found lots of things to love about San Diego...but yes, I understand. I have lots of love for The Bay too. It's what makes CA great in my opinion...so many different strokes for different folks.

Good riddance! We didn't like you anyways! Should've just moved to Texas while you're at it!

Heh Well, I haven't even got the boat in yet down south to find out. What got me was just the mental exercise of separating myself from the Bay. Can't do it. However, I can, and will, start splitting my time between SF and SD. The sailing up north here is exhilarating and challenging. The sailing down south is smooth and no drama.

I grow old. My love of drama is markedly on the wane

It's pretty hard to sail to TX from SF.

*smoke rising off head*

Nope. Can't do it, chuck. You're stuck with me.
