When the florist didn't want to do wedding flowers for a gay couple--again, death threats from liberal/left wing people.

When right-wing people don't agree with you, they just want to ignore you.

When left-wing people don't agree with you, they want you dead/your career destroyed.

Does anyone here honestly think this initiative will get the required 504,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot? Seriously???

So what you're saying is:

Right-wing people defend their rights to exclusion. Left-wing people defend their rights to inclusion.

Hmmm.

You actually think that being ignored and being killed are equal? Interesting.

Congratulations, you've just written the most ignorant statement on the internet today.

I find it amusing that the far-Right is desperately attempting to distance themselves from the logical conclusion of their bigotry, hatred, and ignorance. You reap what you sow...

I like this idea that it could be a plan for breaking the ballot initiatives. It's probably too optimistic though. There's another idea floating around out there that this is just a PR move of some kind.

No way to know if this is the same person as the one in the gay band from your earlier post. There's no solid information out there about whether or not this is even a serious ballot initiative or if it's just a statement of some kind. Currently, all speculation about the initiative's initiator comes from the text of the submitted paperwork which, if it is satire, would all be written in character and therefore tells us nothing about the real person. Other than that he seems to operate out of Huntington Beach, we simply know nothing about him.

Don't you mean all right-wing people just want to call everyone who disagree with them "leftists" and then demean their character with lies and exaggeration to bolster efforts to pass or block laws with the effect of directly or indirectly restricting the rights of people who disagree with them? Yeah, broad sweeping generalizations are really meaningful aren't they?

Or here's another way to look at it; dig up some YouTube videos about this news, read some commentary there and see if you still think your statement can still stand.

As I said above, nobody knows yet if this is even a real initiative or not. However it is true that if taken at face value, the proposal would definitely be categorized as politically very conservative. Hence an understandable if possibly premature backlash.

I'm waiting for the big reveal that will tell us whether this was a serious proposal or not.

You've apparently never spent any time on the political forums here (P&OC, Current Events) because those are completely dominated by ultra-cons just like you.

I think all individuals who seek to usurp rule of law, who seek to overturn long standing American rights, who espouse totalitarian propaganda, and make threats of violence should be rounded up, have their Passports confiscated and be sent with a one way ticket to Russia or the PRC. There are limits to the 1st Amendment. This so called lawyer has exceeded those limits.
