Or maybe you are all in denial of how much California lacks character, not sure.

Don't get upset at a fact people. I realize you all have a dying need to support your home state, but it would be nice to open your eyes and see the blandness that haunts this state.
It's not the end of the world esses.

OP, do you think it might be because CA used to be part of Mexico? That's just as real as London or Boston. Personally, I fail to see the character in those places, but to each his/her own. And did you know that California under the Mexican generals and governors had a reputation for progressive policies? No? Let us know when you get up to speed in your California history.

Eastern cities are much more aesthetically pleasing, although I do like Californias mountains.
You are right and it makes me feel sad. Where oh Babadookk should I live instead that would be of sufficient historical value? Rome, Athens, Beijing?

I need to know where to go, you have shattered my world and I need your help in putting it back togoether.

California has more character than London or Boston. California has 10 character letters while London and Boston have 6 character letters each.

But the lack of character is coming about because of the 5 letter name: Cali.

One less character at a time and ... then no character at all.

You're just making ASSertions and then failing to back them up with any evidence or even definitions of some sort.

Perhaps it's time to pull your head out and get out of your head so you can at least try to connect with us as to what you mean by blandness in relation to California and its history.
