i read somehwere a few of the sheltered valleys around los angeles are warm all year round.does someone know the facts and stats. Thank you.

Warmest low averages probably LA because of its proximity to the coast. I believe it's also one of the driest.

Well the low deserts are going to be the driest with the warmest lows overall. Coastal locations are warmest at night in winter though, the sheltered valleys will get chilly/cold at night in winter.
