Gonna show where I said debt = wealth?
How about showing California is broke?
You do seem to like chanting you favorite themes. But how about backing them up?

Well based on some answers we see why CA has no ingenuity etc. Many just want to push an agenda, bash a political party and .... seem to keep voting the same decision makers into office. No change unless people change.

With the caveat that change purely for the sake of change isn't always a good reason for it. The alternative needs to be better or else you are arguably just suggesting that people should cut off their nose in order to spite their face.

Granted that at the local level it can be an uphill battle for that alternative candidate to gain acceptance for reasons that may not always have to do with their platform. As you said, voters would have to change their habits in gathering information and in reasoning to overcome this particular obstacle. The rest is up to the candidate.

Humm,

If every existing one was voted out of office in the next election, I bet a lot of things would change including the politicians idea they can use hot button and meaningless, issues to stay in office and then do what they and their well paying supporters want. The new ones could not be any worse and maybe would listen to the voters since they could be vote out in mass the next election.

Yes! This ^^^ !! It could really work! And why would we not think so? There's so much precedent over the past 10,000 of civilizations, where the common man joins in brotherhood and solidarity to make clear, logical choices and act on them in willing cohort! Onward! Arm in arm! Down with the tyrants!

Ok. I may have gotten a bit overboard on that.
