You will rarely see an entire gang going at another gang all at once. So outside of prison, numbers aren't that important. Gang wars are a combination of small scrimmages or hit and runs. But regardless, gang membership is declining in Los Angeles..

Gang membership might be diminishing. On the other hand, there are still cases of people being murdered for simply moving to a certain area.

I do sometimes wonder if the reason it isn't mentioned is because some people are glad to see Blacks leave California.
I am glad whenever anyone leaves California regardless of color. We have too many people.

I realize the many whites and Asians go private school so those figures don't tell the whole story for those demographics.

Hispanic is a catch all term. What % are Mexicans?

I love the diversity of California.

My point was this. I was discussing that whenever Blacks have been leaving California, almost no concern is expressed about it, in comparison to Whites leaving. Based on that, I wonder if there are many who don't want Blacks in California.

Google fu brings me to this 2012 graph Public Policy Institute of California

I have no ideal where they stand on issues and the graph is only for foreign born not the multi-generational American citizens

You are correct. But in Los Angeles seeing this isn't as nearly as common as it used to. We turned the corner and violence is decreasing in most years now. Smaller cities like Chicago and Baltimore are way more violent than Los Angeles now..
