Well, if the Wiki source is accurate, Anaheim is roughly 14.8% Asian in 2010, up from 12% in 2000 so that's not very many and not much growth over the decade either.

My guess is they are probably getting a lot of their business from the surrounding cities you mentioned.

saved up a bunch of money before I moved here and was lucky enough to buy a place close to the beach before I got priced out of the zip code. my mortgage is now locked in for less than I could rent a similar place in the same area

Even before '90, Arcadia(including part of Temple city) and Cerritos are among the best school districts with affordable housing price. Not like San Marino, where demands premium $$$.

99 Ranch failed in Westminister twice and failed once in Fountain Valley.
They succeed in Irvine.
It is a for profit business and normal to take risks. No pain no gain.
If they have full control of the whole malls, they would have better chance to heat up the mall and attract more shoppers.

I'm a graphic designer/art director. I took a chance because I knew I had talent and had a good chance of making it.

My first job was a print manager for a magazine. I hit it off with another NYer who also just moved out here, and we got a two bedroom place in downtown HB for $800 a month and lived there for three years, building connections and networking and getting a dream job with an ad agency that I stayed with for 13 years...

Life happens and I move to Missouri with my (ex) wife and bought a house by a lake outside of Saint Louis...
I hated living in Missouri so much that we got a divorce And I returned to CA, bought a condo by the beach, remarried and living a very comfortable life...

I guess the Vietnamese don't patronize 99 Ranch
