I have one of those crappy plans. First, only two insurance companies are participating. Second only 1/3 or the doctors actually accept them. Third, imagine making a change to your auto insurance, but first you have your agent has to get approval through the DMV. This is what its like. I made a prescription change 17 days ago, the insurance company has to wait for approval through covered California and they arent really motivated to help. After two weeks they asked me to write a letter explaining the situation!
Soon, I'll be back on private insurance, but I feel for those who are stuck with that ACA crap. The government doesnt need to be involved in health decisions. There has to be another way.
