Ignore him, he is an idiot.

It would be like saying CA is a dump if you live in Barstow or Baker.

How kind.

Tell that to the employees and their families who are losing their jobs. CA, NEEDS every type of job to help the people living there find work.

"Doesn't every State need those things"

Are you now contradicting yourself?
No need to be melodramatic, I just dont see regional hq as vital to CA as manufacturing or more technical fields.

I know exactly what the OP wrote. It's wrong. Those temps are taken from downtown Los Angeles, many miles more inland than Torrance. There's no reason pretend there are aren't millions of people who live in the region enjoying an average high temp lower than that of Plano, TX.

And gas. CA and NY are high-fiving it because some places have gone down below $2. It's been well below $2 in TX for a long time.

Potentially limit future growth? Perhaps. Cause a hit? I'll put more weight in a billion dollars of investment in expansion over speculation.

Yup, never set foot in the state, but take the word of someone that sees nothing of the country but highway and truck stops.

But Plano is a small city compared to LA and away from the coast, so use Bakersfield to compare to Plano.

Its more of a hit to the psyche. These were North American headquarters not just a regional hq.
California has plenty going for it and cant win them all, but its not fun to have companies pick up and leave or get poached.

Not breadcrumbs either. You just have no idea how many companies have shut down facilities or moved totally out of State. You do know, as an example, that GM used to MFG cars in CA and employed quite a few people?

Any job is vital to people. Nuts to the "State", as it has no feelings.
