It's not even 15 dollars yet. In fact, no increase toward getting it to 15 in the 6 years it will take has happened yet. I call BS.

Every single time the minimum wage is raised, EVERY single time, opponents say it's going to kill a lot of jobs, and kill the economy. Never happens.

Yeah but Fresno is one of the last bastions of affordable homes in California. This will blow that apart.

Ok but most min wage increases have been moderate. Is going to $15 a moderate increase from the last one?

it all depends on how skilled Fresno is. If a lot of people have education or a trade that pays 15 an an hour then fine. If a lot of people are not worth 15 per hour, then yeah its going to get bad. This whole thing is another nail in the coffin of rural towns. Wall street did not kill main street, <instert your state capital street here > killed main street.

You will see some small towns flat out die and many others become exceptionally poor after this but Fresno is large enough to withstand it.
