This week has been in the 90's+ in the San Gabriel Valley. Summer is coming up and i'm working on achieving my beach body, cause you know... California.

Anyways i like to run along the Santa Ana bike trail. I can literally run without my shirt on at midnight and feel like room temperature as if i never stepped outside my house. Makes me pause for a minute and wonder if coastal residents could do that? I tend to get too cold by the coast at night.

Do parts of Arizona and Nevada get this perfect weather as i described? Or does the extreme desert heat during day = extreme cold at night?

Yes. Ventura County, out walking late at night in a t-shirt. Mars is very bright now as it's at perigee, and Saturn is visible to its lower left.
