how is this area? as far as crime, drugs, ghetto..and the like.
i've seen the threads.
most of them say "it says its nice parts.." or close to that.
but i don't see WHICH parts are the nice parts.
I live in los angeles and i'm not familiar with palmdale, so could you please give some friendly insight?

It's aight; I'm tring to sacrifice my $500/month rent in lancaster to pay say,,,,, 1200/month mortgage in east palmdale if I can,,, so like i say,,,, it's aight.

East Palmdale = ghetto with nice homes. Around Domenic Massari Park is a bad area. Drugs, gangs, shootings, and fights are a fact of life.

Unhappy East palmdale

East palmdale used to be nice. Now its nice if you don't mind section 8 all around you. I wouldn't buy here or lancaster if I had to choose now. I would look outside of the av. I know I want to leave!!!!

I completely agree! I spent 8 years in the AV (moved there because of work) We moved away almost 3 years ago, amazing what 40 minutes will do! Only regret is not moving sooner!
There are much nicer areas to live, away from the Antelope Valley!
