My husband and I are coming to the Palm Springs area the first part of March...and I don't golf!! He is staying after I leave to golf with buddies...so I am looking for things to do with him while I am there...is there any sand dune carts that we could rent, we are outdoor people but don't want the typical tourist looking around stuff.....we want an adventure.

Palm Springs Aerial Tram. If you are in pretty decent shape and enjoy hiking, take the hike to Mt San Jacinto, 11 miles round trip. Not sure about snow up there in early March - might make it prohibitive.
