My area has been out of the drought for quite some time. We finished last rain season with 110% of average and all of our local reservoirs were more than full. Since the end of October we have had received almost 20% of our average rainfall.

NOte a major point:

Three-fourths of California remains in drought, mostly in Central and Southern California, where most of the state's crops and the majority of its 39 million people reside. Twenty-one percent of the state — again in Central and Southern California — are in the most severe category of drought.

From the article:

But "one month of good rain is not a drought-buster," Gomberg said. "You need a lot more of that until the entire state can climb out of drought."

I said still alive, but as someone who is going to be spending much more time in California it is worth noting that the state is a desert and farming has to be moved to places with water like Minnesota, California can't afford to keep t going (They can wine and strawberry's, everything else has to go.)

Nope, keep the AG and get rid of people. That will make CA better, less crowded and ... well them people who can afford to stay behind will have a better life.

Oh, only part of CA is a desert and most people do not live there.
