GDP by states: (CA wins)
(in millions)
1 California 2,448,467
2 Texas 1,639,375

Violent Crime Rates by States (TX suffers from MORE violent Crimes)
(rates per 100k population)
15) Texas 405.9
17) CA 396.1

Rape Statistics by States (TX suffers from More rape cases)
Interesting. A bible thumping, Family Value, Less illegal immigrants, we is better than yall State has more rape cases.
TX: 29.6
CA: 20.6

Child Sex Offender Registry Count. (TX has more registered Sex offenders, even though CA has a HIGHER population).
TX: 87,149
CA: 84,315

Greatest Exports (winner: CA, doesn't need to rely on oil like Middle Eastern States)
CA (Air Plane Parts and Almonds)
TX (OIL)

Percentage of State Population on Food Stamps
TX has a higher population on Food Stamp. CA is #41!
27) TX: 14.29%
41) CA: 11.21%

ObamaCare enrollment by State
(CA barely has more enrollment. Not bad for a State with the HIGHEST population). TX, for a state that hates ObamaCare so much, why do they have 1.3 Million enrolled?
CA: 1,575,340
TX: 1,306,208

I can go on and on and on.
You know I could say the same thing with California with the highest number of gangs or how about the largest illegal immigration in the U.S. Or how about all the fake ass people in SoCal who thinks they are famous because they know some celebrities and who also think their **** don't stink.

Highest number of Gangs and largest number of Immigrants? YET TX still manage to have the higher number of violent crimes, rapes and child Sex offenders.

At least with CA, we can blame it on the gangs and illegals. Who can TX blame it on? Their own Republican fan base? HAHAHAHAH!

What do Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, College Station, Lubbock, Sherman, Dallas/Ft Worth, San Antonio, Midland, Waco, San Angelo, Wichita Falls, Kileen, Tyler, Laredo, and Texarkana have in common?

All in Texas, all have lower unemployment than Los Angeles.

Unemployment counts PEOPLE LOOKING FOR JOBS. Since TX has MORE people on Welfare, it's obvious why the numbers are skewed.

Do you know how they COUNT unemployment? lol

For example, Hill billy bob living in a trailer park NOT looking for a Job doesn't Count towards the unemployment rate.

Sames goes for Stay at home mom Sarah Fisher bily bob jr. Since she's a stay at home mom, she's isn't counted toward the unemployment rate.

Next time, do some research before you make another ridiculous statement.

Who is counted as unemployed?

People are classified as unemployed if they do not have a job, have actively looked for work in the prior 4 weeks, and are currently available for work. Actively looking for work may consist of any of the following activities:

Do you know how to post without having a temper tantrum and posting in caps?

Now the problem with your rants and prejudiced comments about people with Texas being on welfare and therefore not counting in unemployment rates is that their labor force participation rate is higher than ours in California.

So do you know how to count?

Ok? yeah I'm sure all illegals in California are gangs, maybe you should look at the demographics in Texas to understand why we have a large number of violent crimes. Yes Texas isn't perfect, you are going to have problems in a state with nearly 30 million people so it's not all going to be rosy. I lived in both states to see first hand from what they suffering from. For instance California has a huge homeless problem so are you going to blame that on Illegals and Republicans?

Careful, you know how viscous and violent those peace loving Libs can be.

They even paid people to violently disrupt Trump rally's. Don't offend them.

Both States have good and bad and I have lived in both and have businesses in both.

California has made it clear they do not want low wage jobs here but automated manufacturing is a good fit. High wage technician and engineering jobs and the manufacturers have ready access to world class ports and western rails. Same goes for Texas but exporting to different areas.

I think the landlocked states without a good rail network whose only advantage is cheap labor may be ill equipped to handle the next phase of manufacturing.

Maybe if the only jobs are hi tech, which not everyone is well fitted for and many middle aged people do not have the time, money or desire to learn such if gthier current jobs go away. A good Government would want jobs of all types for all people, not just the Hi tech ones that impart a Feel Good egotistical feeling For all the kids now in school there will not be enough such jobs for them and there will not be any jobs left that they would do, if your position is not adjusted to fit their needs.

Yes the horse and buggy days changed to the automotive world view and that required new skills, etc. But it did not make it hard for people to learn such skills and believe it or not people still make buggy whips, saddles and such even today. The world of Hi tech today will always be limited to who can be a part of it. There is no reason to drive out jobs that millions would be happy to do and have their children do. It isn't one or the other it should and can be both Hi tech and Low Tech. College grads should be able to get a job that does not require asking if you want fries with your order.

The people who are not well suited to the jobs that are located in a particular area, (California in this case), are better off moving to where those jobs are needed.

If a Californian wants to buy a saddle and there is no one nearby to make it, the saddle can be acquired from elsewhere in the USA where they are more prevalent. However, I think it is likely that there are still some saddle makers in California, because we still have lots of horses and riding stables and "horsey" events.

Here's a few right in Silicon Valley:

Northern California, and especially Silicon Valley does concentrate on high tech of all kinds and Southern California has a lot of people engaged in the entertainment industry.

The hospitality, travel and tourism industries are throughout California.

It's not unusual that companies tend to locate near other companies that are in their same industry and it helps them that they can draw on specialized workforces in those locations.
