Would any US citizen be eligible to become a citizen of California if secession were to happen? I'm a CA native, but my BF is from Texas. Just curious on how that works.

Admittedly I was being generous. I actually think 5,000 people armed with AR15s would be able to totally take over San Francisco and Los Angeles.

With the way California is being ran, I sense it's politicians would sink it into the ocean faster than the San Andreas would. Won't be long before a huge percent of their population decreasing becuase people are fleeing in droves.

You need deep pockets in order to be able to afford California. Even if you did, housing and insane taxes would eat up your funds.

Have you noticed there are 40 million people managing to live here? Far more than in any other state?

Notice that real eatate inventory all sells - quickly - at these high prices?

Oh goodie! Sales and rentals of Droves will skyrocket and since I laid claim to the Drove Concession in California some years ago I'll become filthy rich. Maybe I'll buy Santa Barbara.

You notice how many people are on welfare in CA?

You notice how high the poverty rate is?

California is slowly becoming Brazil.

Prefering welfare to leaving for opportunity elsewhere is their choice not the states fault.

Brazil is California with 10-15 more years of one party Democrat rule.
