Funny how the party of responsibility takes no responsibility at all for the Governator (R).

The crash started in the US with the banks loaning money to people who could not afford them. Does the government have to nanny the banks? I guess so. Capitalism must be heavily regulated. If Clinton made mistakes with deregulation, why is Trump repeating them?

Anyway, real estate prices have rebounded over the last 8 years regardless what the doom sayers say. Will they crash again some day, you bet. It's what capitalism does.

Don't ya think that Federal politics (as in Federal budget priorities, ending or creating a new defense program), influence aerospace jobs more than state politics?

Absolutely! This time, credit goes to Donal Trump. Make Aerospace jobs great again in California.

The interesting thing, is California has one of the higher median incomes in the whole country, but when it is adjusted for purchasing power, it falls into 42nd place. Latest figures for entire year released are 2015, with 2016 not yet available. See chart 2.

For the difference between median household income and purchasing power, California falls to 47th worst. See chart 3.

California has 1 in 5 people in the state living in poverty.

TRUE: California has the nation

The little detail they fail to mention when they throw the 6th largest economy slogan at ya.

I love California, I hate the people that are running it (into the ground).

They fail to realize that this is because of the sheer number of people in the state. They also fail to note that on a per capita basis which is the only true way to measure the GDP for all states, California only comes in at 10th place.

US GDP per capita by state vs. European countries and Japan, Korea, Mexico and China and some lessons for The Donald - AEI | Carpe Diem Blog » AEIdeas

And if it is adjusted for cost of living difference between California and the rest of the country, we find that California is in 12th place for median income, but it falls to 37th place after adjusting for taxes and cost of living.

Making the same type of adjustment on a per capita basis, it would not be the 10th largest economy in the country either.

Shhhh, many want to be viewed as wise for living in the State with such a high GDP. Don't spoil that for them. CA is a beautiful State (Nothing to do with the people) with a LOT of financial issues (Due to the people).
