Denver, Salt Lake City, and Boston are very prosperous, booming, educated, white-collar cities. I don't know about Indianapolis.

Even though there's high paying jobs in LA and SF, Cali is one of the most expensive states in the country (in the top 5). If you miss a paycheck or even a few hours, you could be evicted and end up homeless.

Nonsense. Oil is a tiny part of the DFW economy. Dallas is experiencing the greatest economic boom in its history.

They have low rates, not because they have plenty of people, But because most people have fled those parts of the state because thjy couldnt afford to live there even if they had a job.
