Whether left / right media "twist" as a matter of common course is immaterial to the specifics of this issue. It was a quote, and the quote is certainly insulting ... to a subset of voting taxpayers. And for that Brown will, appropriately, suffer criticism. That said, what is being applied by Breitbart is deliberate mischief to create a lie (that Brown refers to ALL or even a majority of California taxpayers). And that cheap lie is being retold by proxy in this thread now. If your concern is for honestry in media, then your remarks should be balanced with full contextual honesty.
