He is simply repeating the liberal mantra.

Brown needs to ride off into the sunset and hope his pension is still there. Reagan has nothing on this kook now.

You all are getting funny now. Breitbart selects and quotes out of context and its hook line and sinker time for some. Breitbart has this technique down to a science. But really guys. Sure Brown said whats quoted. If you read carefully, and then appropriately note the source and go verify, you'll find Brown - like him or not - did not, in fact, call California taxpayers, as an all-incluusive group, "Freeloaders." He referred to a specific mindset of some taxpayers. Breitbart. Hilarious.

Right. Exactly. Your first clue. 20 stories. All the same. All right wing venues. Derived from Breitbart without full context. Nowhere in the coverage is there any indication that Brown called "California taxpayers" as a generic, full class, "freeloaders."

Even if you dislike Jerry Brown intensely, he is not a stupid individual politically. Smart enough to know a politician shouldn't refer to a full electorate class as "freeloaders." It was aspeciously selected snippet quoted out of context.

And of course the Left wing Media never twists, distorts or lies. Wait, they do constantly now. Humm, it was still a quote and he was in effect insulting many voters.

Whether left / right media "twist" as a matter of common course is immaterial to the specifics of this issue. It was a quote, and the quote is certainly insulting ... to a subset of voting taxpayers. And for that Brown will, appropriately, suffer criticism. That said, what is being applied by Breitbart is deliberate mischief to create a lie (that Brown refers to ALL or even a majority of California taxpayers). And that cheap lie is being retold by proxy in this thread now. If your concern is for honestry in media, then your remarks should be balanced with full contextual honesty. Suggesting that this dishonest manipulation is okay "because others do similar" is a diservice to everyone.

I can't find any unbiased sources and I've looked: I found it on breitbart, pepenews, gatewaypundit, dailycaller, redstate, theresurgent, and pirate4x4 lol
The fact that something like this is reposted verbatim on several RWNJ websites means nothing, they all use the same news feed so whatever gets posted on one of them makes it's way through the entire cesspool within minutes
