What's the reason for the increase? Cost increase for healthcare or more money to the Insurance Lobbyist that donated to the Trump admin?

More reason to modify ObamaCare to pay doctors directly instead of going through a Greedy Middlemen like these Insurance companies.
Wait aren't you the one complaining that you're subsidizing the poor? That is exactly what ACA does, and then you have the audacity to blame it on Trump. You are a very confused person.

It's okay, it only effects working citizens... illegals and dead beats will continue paying nothing

Obamacare needs to get repealed, Trump has fought harder than any other president, even now threatening to end the free ride politicians get until something is passed

Be careful what you wish for I guess (and I was one of those wishing in 2009). This is on top of 13% for 2017. Only a mere eight times the rate of inflation. Patient protection is one thing (eliminating pre-existing conditions clauses and benefit caps ), but this is quite another.
The rates are astronomically expensive because of extremely idiotic regulations like no benefit caps! What if there were no benefit caps for auto insurance? One can buy 25/50 insurance or pay more and get 100/300 auto insurance. How much would an auto insurance policy cost if it was guaranteed unlimited liability?

Everyone should have the same choice for health insurance. One should be able to choose an unlimited policy or the old standard of one million benefit cap. How many people will pick the one million dollar benefit cap if it means the policy is much less expensive?

Uh, Trump said he will cut funding for Obamacare and "watch in implode". Trump cuts funding, Insurance companies needs to pick up the difference somewhere. So hence the Rate increase.

Only way to Solve this is by cutting out the Middlemen which are the Greedy Insurance Companies. We can easily cut cost by 30% by paying the healthcare facilities directly. Instead of paying 30% to the greedy CEO's of Insurance Companies.

If trump does nothing obamacare implodes.

It is in a death spiral, some states are father along that death spiral than others.

everyone knows how poorly the government runs programs and yet some here still somehow think government will run healthcare well. Even most of the other countries with socialized medicene have great access and poor outcomes where many die waiting for service and have little to no access to live improving but non life threatening surgeries like hip and knee replacements.

That's been the Repub plan all along: create so much uncertainty and doubt in the marketplace that insurers would either leave or raise rates. It worked.

If the Repubs had cooperated, with exchanges in every state, every state accepting the Medicaid expansion, ACA premiums would be a lot lower.
OK, nothing to do with Trump. Both parties have fouled the idea up. A good idea with poor planning.

I employee less than 50 people. They also had the option of joining as individuals. ALL rejected it.

Anyone who is self employed is covered under an individual policy (unless they are covered under a spouse's employer).

Obama Care is imploding now. Trump has not cut any funding and it is falling apart. Good idea, bad planning.
