Well, 10 minutes away is a bit different than 5 hours, so...

A "meth-y" town 10 minutes away can indeed affect real estate activity. And hell, I'll even argue that yes, San Fran does affect real estate activity all across the state, directly or indirectly.

In any case, my point was a bit more rational than implying that ALL OF THE SIERRA NEVADA FOOTHILLS is meth HQ

Well it sort of is, everywhere from Sonora to every other town there.
