I wouldn't wish this guy on the state . He's a lot worse then Jerry Brown .

---
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who is stirring the 2020 presidential rumor mill with recent trips to New Hampshire and Wisconsin, declined Wednesday to rule out a run next year for California governor.

“I have not made any decision on that,” Garcetti, a second-term Democrat, told The Sacramento Bee, after appearing at an event with fellow big-city mayors to push for state affordable housing legislation.

Browns religion is global warming and his train to nowhere. He is completely bonkers on global warming, ruining the economy to make no difference at all is necessary to that idiot.
Garcetti would be a lot better than Newson, Newson scares me. Constant tax increases.

Garcetti would be even worse than Newsom, because Newsom has actually ran a business, didn't go to an Ivy League school, and is very slightly more in touch with reality than Garcetti. Albeit not much more. It says a lot about how awful Garcetti is that even Newsom is slightly preferable. Newsom had a better record as mayor than Garcetti did. That said both of those men would be much worse than Brown.

We saw after 2013 that Garcetti's moderation that he pretended to have was nothing more than a facade. He is an identitarian far leftist tied to the Liberty Hill Foundation, and might even be to the left of Jesse Arreguin. Electing Garcetti as governor would be like electing Yvette Falarca as governor.

I don't know, newsom is going to bend us over a barrel. The (D)s will happily comply while chanting global warming mantra.

It doesn't matter - they're all the same (Democrat with a left-leaning bent). Its gotten to the point there's no use in even bothering with statewide or district elections in California. A left-leaning Democrat will always win the statewide offices and the 1/4 of districts that are Republican will always vote for the Republican. Basically, rinse and repeat. Hasn't been a true horse race since the 1990s.

Garcetti will run only if Gavin runs for POTUS. Which is a strong possibility. Leaving California in Xavier Becerra's hands then a primary with Garcetti.

Gavin is definitely winning after Brown. This is a given. California is becoming more and more blue in inland counties these days. Used to be coastal but now even Orange County is blue.

Or he could run for US Senate next year.

Garcetti as a Senator could do less damage than as a governor, although he still would not be qualified. And he'd be back in his beloved East
