Corn Fed, look it up, I'd see it all the time in many areas of the US.

You must live in some alternate reality. I don't know a single white non-hispanic LA native that wears a cross or that is an evangelical. And for those that enjoy four wheeling and jet skiing - you are describing 909ers.

In my opinion, which is likely a minority opinion, whites in Southern California are not radically different from those in the Lower Midwest (i.e., Columbus, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Springfield, etc.).

Most whites in Southern California, in particular those who were born and raised there, are Evangelical Protestants, affix their necks and vehicles with crosses, consistently vote Republican, drive lifted pickup trucks or large SUV's, have little opposition to driving long distances, are a smorgasbord of Northern and Western European ancestry with light hair/eyes and deep American roots, speak slowly and with a very slight drawl and twang (i.e., pronouncing "Pavilions" as "Paveelions" and raising the vowel sound in words like "out" and "about"), adorn their homes with lots of Christmas decorations during the holiday season (the Beach Cities in SoCal area the most highly decorated areas I've ever seen, comparable to the Midwest), enjoy four-wheeling/fishing/jet-skiing, are generally polite and courteous, etc.

Remember, most non-Hispanic white people in Southern California are transplants from the Midwest or South-Central states (i.e., AR, LA, OK and TX) or the children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren thereof, so your average white Southern Californian is usually never more than 1-3 generations removed from those areas.

Personally, I fit in much better with the average non-Hispanic white person in Southern California than I ever did with whites in Rhode Island, where I grew up. I will have you have know that whites there and elsewhere in the coastal Northeast are radically different from whites in Southern California in almost every way imaginable.

Most whites in the Northeast are Roman Catholic by faith and often hail from large, clannish Irish, Southern European or Eastern European families who all generally reside within a 20-mile radius of each other. People in the Northeast tend to be rude, harried and outspoken. They are not particularly decorative or festive around the holidays, save their immigrant traditions (e.g., fish on Christmas Eve among Italian-American families). Needless to say, people often opt to identify with their ethnic heritage vs. their national heritage. Of course, most whites in the urban Northeast are card-carrying Democrats. And finally, the English accents are quite abrasive, especially among the working class.
most non-Hispanic white people in Southern California? Where I haven't seen any.
