Do you honestly think everyone can learn coding or other tech oriented jobs? Heck a lot of people can't do basic math

Sounds like 'who' is so used to living in CA?

And what 'bubble'?

Note also: you may be bled dry of your last pennies every month ... but I'm sure as hell not. Guess it depends on individual circumstances? ... not because of the state ... just sayin

Whoo-boy! Let me guess: you either belong to one of the “prosperity gospel” churches, or LDS? Talk about out of touch with reality!

I'm glad such a beacon of socialist policies like Stockton can really show the rest of the world how it's done.

I know it is a figure of speech and have used it myself. The point was many can't learn, some do not want to learn and .... the tech giants only have so many openings. Yes maybe paying college expenses would help, but who would get that money? The poor, low middle class, middle class, upper middle class or even illegals?

The real key, if any actually exists, is for each person to try to improve. Money does not make that happen, self motivation does. Then learn to look out of the box. I did this; raised poor, never went to college and am now worth (depending on high or low the value for the tech I have created is viewed, the value of my businesses, etc., is viewed) extends from mid 8 figures to low 9 figures. I am no genius, just learned to work hard and ... learn.
