Sometimes people ask questions not for their own benefit, but for the benefit of others.

And my response addressed that, if they are interested they can read through the thread...

Yes, that's certainly an option.

It is SICK to ENABLE drug addicts with easy access to their paraphernalia!

Drugs are toxic!

Most heroin is laced with Fentanol (sp.?) - which is SUPER DEADLY.

All of the alleged do-gooders pro free needles and injection sites . . . do they realize drugs are DEADLY?

What are people supposed to do after they shoot up in government facilities? Lay around and nod off?

This is beyond stupid.

Maybe if natural consequences were taught, then people would realize "Hey, this is a really dumb way to live" and WANT to get off drugs.

This is the government sanctioning drug use, sickness, and homelessness.

How long do these street junkies tend to live? Are there numbers on that, I wonder? I would think it would be a really rough life and that they would not live long.
Yeah. Next thing you know they'll be opening a "safe" place for paedophiles to view child porn on the web. You know, free from prosecution, judgment, and such.

Where does this insanity end?!

Already exists. It's called the L.A. Central Library.

I like it. Coastal elitism mixed with NIMBYism, mixed with social justice "but not in muh neighborhood!" I like it because you're being honest.
Since when did you become such a bleeding heart liberal?

It's called having a balanced view of the world.

The safe injection sites will initially be privately funded, though Garcia wouldn’t say where the money’s coming from.
SF safe injection sites expected to be first in nation, open around July 1

I never expected you to agree with 2sleepy on a homeless related issue...that's as unlikely as Exitus Acta Probat supporting marijuana legalization or MysticalTyger supporting Agenda 21...
