My bad.

nice attempt at deflection. Looking at San Fran I can vilify him as much as I and every homeless person and every citizen that has to dodge poop and needles wants.

So it must be nice to think about that move to Phoenix, yes?

It wasn't meant as a deflection. Since we couldn't manufacture a different candidate, Newsom looked to be the lesser of two evils. Cox knew little about homelessness and had no plan to manage it, other than providing "affordable housing."

I didn't realize that Katie Hill beat Rep Steve Knight to represent California’s 25th Congressional District in northern Los Angeles County. She is a former executive director of PATH, a Los Angeles nonprofit that provides services to the homeless. Pretty impressive for a 31 year old.

The urban plantation: farming the "homeless" from place to place while the money rolls in. I love the " I give a crap" looks on the faces of the field bosses.
What REALLY was the "glitch " ? Not enough in the envelope?
How much money was spent? WHO got all the money ? This is just one tiny example of the heinous treatment of human beings going on- and its a nationwide left wing disease.
" LA Household Housing — the company that’s formally designated to assist individuals within the San Fernando Valley transition of out of homelessness" Yep- transition in, out, all about ! Money changing hands at every move...
Just keep the "homeless" wasted on drugs and alcohol-give them a free pass for committing crime too!.....and the "advocates" know now that the taxpayers won't expect any accountability. they know that now for sure...
Christmas 2018? Beemers for the "public servants", advocates and vendors... a blanket, a bag lunch, and needles for "homeless".

And the 2 billion HUD supposedly designated for the homeless apparently went nowhere except into funding the machiavellian scheme of issuing 'rapid rehousing vouchers' which provide for subsidized housing for 3-9 months and after which time the tenant is responsible for 100% of the market rate rent. The feds diverted funds from group homes, sober living centers and transitional housing to fund this joke of a program

Yep. But what was great was they left behind Ben’s quote acknowledging: “We know what works: Housing First programs ...”. So at least there’s admission, if not performance. Perhaps when The Deranged One is finally moved on to his next empire, we can build on the acknowledgement.
