I live in Yorba Linda (North Orange County), and i’v noticed that traffic is ALOT worse the hotter it is outside. It’s not just people heading to the beach to, but also Big Bear Lake, Elsinore Lake, The Colorado River (Laughlin) or just outdoor activities in general.

This is also the time of year I see many Arizona and Neveda license plates, typically millennials driving to the beach. The irony is that they leave their states to escape the heat, yet the heat isn’t any better here except the beach to cool down.

Yes, I think weekend traffic is busier during the hot weather. People like to get out on the weekend when the weather is nice. And traffic to the beach is heavier in the summer, of course.

Otherwise, general traffic seems to me to be somewhat less in the summer, because kids are off school.

It is just you. You do not understand the difference between causation and correlation. If you ever get a position of importance in a company let us know so that I can divest myself of all shares in said company.

It’s going to be sunny every single day this week. Time to put my observation researching to the test.

Sunny, but not hot. Highs around 70 is what they are saying for my area (inland Orange County); cooler at the coast. I'd be surprised if people are ditching work and pulling their kids out of school for beach or mountain vacations right now.
