Interesting article. You always manage to stay on top of things, CA4Now.

I suppose a compromise on those two contentious issues is better than nothing. Having high speed from the valley to the bay area would certainly be helpful in freeing up congestion over the Altamont Pass and the clog over on I80 and 680. Anything to reduce that traffic would be welcome.

I think people who oppose this won't get much satisfaction in his plan to make only one tunnel instead of two. They want to kill it altogether.

Doesn't really matter, though. Once he's in office, he'll change his mind. They always do. Since when has a politician ever kept his campaign promises?

That's up to the voters, rather than the governor. Ain't gonna happen.

I mean, is he wrong?

San Francisco is a disgusting dump. Even long time residents I've talked to are getting fed up with it.

San Francisco is the poster child for failed liberal policies and how they result in low quality of life .

You are absolutely correct. The sooner people realize that, the better of off we will all be.

Don't forget the push from city leaders for safe injection sites so degenerates can safely do their heroin in peace.
