regarding the political will to eliminate Prop 13 and kill the real estate wealth of millions, you now have:

Many Republicans even support this, if you believe this article.

I can sympathise. There are too many people getting scandalously wealthy doing nothing of value. Take Zuckerberg for example. Stole the idea, and got paid large for scaling it big. Good for him, I say, but millions out there feel the need to loot and pillage his bank account.

The home owner class is seen as the next privileged elite in California. Prop 13 is going away sooner than later.

Interesting. I have to say I dont disagree. I have many friends with students loans still cannot even afford a small condo here in OC
