More citizens move out to other States than move in. The growth is foreign immigration and births.

Now do most people want to move? No they don't. However many do and can't quite do it due to cost of moving, etc. The majority want to stay and many for reasons besides the weather, and are willing to put up with the bad aspects of living in CA due to family and friends and memories.

The biggest problem for many is being priced out due to those with money from around the world and the US, who can afford it and it is driving prices up and the middle class out.

Every state has bad aspects as well as good. On one hand you say population growth is fueled by foreign immigrants. Then you say people with money from around the world are driving prices up. So do you have a problem with immigrants (foreign or domestic) with money moving to LA or the Bay Area?

So what! Hmm. Maybe Nebraska is calling you.

Did I say I had a problem with it? Nope, just pointing out the error in the post I was responding to. I am in CA right now. Plus it is births and foreign immigration, not just foreign immigration and I am not against foreign immigrants (legal) nor babies.

The land that's Lake County now used to be part of Napa County, and some of it came from Mendocino and Colusa Counties as well. Napa's a Bay Area county.

Most people leaving California are middle class and the wealthy, mainly conservatives who hate California's politics and also boomers heading for a retirement friendly state.
