Ugh, driving down the 101 from the central coast, quite often it would smell like someone hit a skunk. Then I noticed it happened every time I passed a internally-lit green house and realized this is the smell of a MJ grow operation. Even when the grow houses were far off the road, they stank up the entire area!

Glad I don't live anywhere near to these stinky polluters! That stench is much worse than anything from the other fields. Strawberries, lettuce, kale, grapes, raspberries, etc. even out in the open, even the factory farms that spray don't stink like the enclosed pot operations!

Glad my county has banned them!

It smells bad because you are not used to it. Once you body/nose adapts to the smell, it will smells nice, or at least non offensive.

Wait til the hidden crops in the redwood parks on the North Coast get hit by forest fires. The entire population of the region could be out of it, for awhile.

Breweries stink
Cattle farms stink
Pig farms stink
Fish processing facilities stink
Water treatment plants stink

Sounds like you just don't like cannabis.

More like living with a cat.. people become nose blind to their stinky cat. The odor could almost knock a guest out, but the owner is used to and oblivious to the smell.
And yes folks.... your precious indoor cat stinks too.

There are lot of things that smell truly horrible:

Waste treatment plants
Landfills
Poultry farms-the large factory farm ones, not the backyard farmers.
Large hog farms
Paper mills

You haven't smelled STINK until you have driven around Amarillo, TX on I-40. Massive cattle feedlots and the stink starts to hit you 20 miles away. I won't even go into how horrid it smells once you get near it.

Not saying that pot smells like roses but honesty it's gotta smell nicer than what I've mentioned above. You might not like the smell of it but pot isn't polluting the atmosphere or using excessive natural resources like some of the other industries.

the new cigarette. in a few months Canada will be legalizing pot, but the guy 1/4 block away already has the stench on this clothing, and celebrates the freedom lifestyle similar to the "gun culture" in the States. And it's a childrens' park.
