what a surprise another liberal who supports bonds and tax increases - back to the issue the dumbass voters can read or do 3rd grade math to understand what a bod is - how it works and the actual real costs- but its for the children- police - homeless - roads, illegal lawyers, on and and on -

and with more and more dumbass illegals who cant read or vote ( yea right ) the math works in their favor - free **** for those with the hands out- so easy be be a liberal - taking someone else money and give it to some undeserving tool

ahh calif politics at it best

Ideally the purpose of government would be to take care of the citizens. With their bloated salaries and pensions this is turning into a case where the citizens role is to take care of their government, and do it generously.
I lived in California since 1978 and never had a problem paying rent, mortgage, and taxes.
Now in retirement we are consinderig a move to another state. The main reason is the way property taxes are going up with every bond we voted in. Soon it will come to the point we can't cover it once our savings are gone.

Every time the high school needs a new gym or HVAC system, there come the bonds. It's only $ 130 a year more, then next time the police station needs a new building, or whatever.

Dan Walters had an essay in the Sacramento Bee about proposition 6, the gas tax vote. He explains that with the constant increases in pension costs the government must find new ways to get money, one way or other.

And the politicians doing this will never be voted out of office now.
