All of those are based on race and are necessarily racist.

"Harvard sends recruitment letters to African-American, Native American and Hispanic high schoolers with mid-range SAT scores, around 1100 on math and verbal combined out of a possible 1600, CNN reported. Asian-Americans only receive a recruitment letter if they score at least 250 points higher — 1350 for women, and 1380 for men."

I didn’t ask for your definition. I asked for veritased’s. But ok. Your definition apparently is that any behavior or action that isolates races from each other, regardless of intent of purpose, is racist then?

Here are a couple dictionary definitions that define it differently.
Quote:
racism
NOUN

mass noun
1Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.
‘a programme to combat racism’
More example sentencesSynonyms
1.1The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
Quote:
racism noun
rac·ism | \ ˈrā-ˌsi-zəm also -ˌshi- \
Definition of racism
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

The comments on this thread from those opposed to anyone outside of CA posting in this forum shouldn't surprise anyone. It really is all about censorship (what their ultimate goal is). Many of these posters appear to feel threatened by anyone that give a viewpoint of the state that doesn't conform to their rose colored glasses optics. CA is one of the biggest echo chambers in the country and many only want to hear things that align with their thoughts (hence the defensiveness).

lol one could say the same about red states. Red states don't want to hear from blue states that the blue states are more cosmopolitan and more productive. lol

Racism is when you're the majority race -- or the one which has the most historical advantages -- and you're trying to prevent people of other races from achieving equal or greater success. In other words, your opposition to the listed programs could be racist.

So by your definition, people of color can't be racists in the United States. Riiiight...

Uh no. You don't have to be a majority race to have racism. Where do you get this nonsense?

You clearly don't understand what the term echo chamber means. Although political viewpoints can certainly be one component, it is not limited by that in any way. Many people in my ex-neck of the woods, San Francisco, were downright militant in their viewpoints on far more topics than just politics. And those that didn't agree with them were typically labeled in some way, greeted with personal attacks, and quickly dismissed. This is typical of an echo chamber type behavior. A close mindedness and inability to accept anyone's viewpoints that don't coincide with their own.
