No people can't run extension cords. How about apt dwellers? They barely get a parking space in most places. You live on a boat how are you going to charge your new Tesla??

Maybe if Newsome ever leaves his mansion he can see how many people live.

And the added cost of solar to the price tag. Mandatory electrification, a more expensive utility on a weak grid. Where's the outrage there?

Supply and demand. If affordability of CA houses declines, so will price regardless of what the materials cost.

Glad I moved.

Putting this out there as a courtesy and a warning for anyone who may be considering solar panels for their home. Be very careful of the company you choose. Not all are reputable. A recent story in the Sac Bee about a couple who scammed millions of dollars from unsuspecting homeowners for their bogus solar company in Martinez, Ca. Jeffrey and Paulette Carpoff are accused of running a ponzi scheme with their company, DC Solar. Even Warren Buffet was scammed by these two. https://www.courthousenews.com/feds-...-ponzi-scheme/

After the Solyndra scandal, I thought maybe these companies would be more closely scrutinized but apparently not so be very careful. Don't become a victim of these crooks. Make sure the company you're dealing with has a solid reputation and if you're thinking of investing in their company, be doubly careful. Could be just another ponzi scheme like the Carpoffs were running.

Builders are promoting this as a way to increase prices. Normally they will sell for the maximum that buyers will pay, but circulating a story like this will cause buyers to accept higher prices.
