Interesting. I don't know when my rather large bald spot on top of my head started but it may well have been sometime in the last 18 months, since being on top of my head it is not readily visible to me.

In February 2020 I had a spell of about a month where my I had a foul odor in my nose. At the time I blamed it on my new office in the City. Probably was undiagnosed Covid (then called novel-coronavirus) thought my antibodies tested negative on April 29, 2020. An acquaintance I was talking to on Saturday experienced a similar event, though he described it as an "unusual" cold. Tests were very difficult to come by at that time, and even as late as January 2021 involved both wasting on line and often a fee. I suspect a lot more people have had Covid than is realized.

Considering scientists still can't pinpoint the exact genesis of the virus, I think it's highly likely.
As for testing, it was made available to me and strongly encouraged via employers in the fall of 2020 and I've tested regularly since. It was required post-April and now it's back to voluntary status for the vaccinated. I'll continue to do it until it's not convenient anymore.

Doctors are actually writing prescriptions for this?

“We certainly advise people every time: Do not use this for COVID,” Herd said. “It is ineffective and it’ll just make you feel ill. It does not help COVID.”

Herd says using an anti-parasitic drug such as ivermectin to treat a viral infection like COVID-19 is worthless, regardless of the dosage. Yet some physicians across California and the nation continue to write prescriptions for patients upon request.

Looks like it works and the info is from a scientific journal. Gonna be interesting as more data comes out.

also:

There are more but they take a lot of reading.

You have to wonder why the media is so quick to dismiss it and so many people follow suit.

Looks like some preliminary research looks promising. I think likely more study will be needed.

But, I certainly don't think this drug can be looked at as something to use to preclude vaccination as being the best defense against the virus.

"California no longer has a “high” level of community coronavirus transmission, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The state joins two others, Vermont and Connecticut, in improving to reach the “substantial” tier of the agency’s risk chart — indicating that is has between 50 and 99 new daily cases per 100,000 residents — for the first time since the delta variant of the coronavirus brought the summer COVID surge"

I don't get it either. It's not like antivirals are new territory in medicine. It's not some crazy idea that we could treat people who are already infected. There seems to be a preference in some groups to just rely on vaccines and ignore the other end of it entirely, dismissing it as junk science when it's not.
