Long before I said to the office that had a dog and do I need to register my dog. She asked if I live there. No just work here she said no I don't need to. The manger came to check my Clint's athe smoke alarms. Like I said I bring my dog with me my client has no problem. Well now the manger seen my Boston and said I need to register my dog. Ok how much 500.00 plus 50 every month. He's seen me walk my dog everyday he said. I don't even live there. Can he do that. I don't understand how he can do that all of a sudden.he new I worked there

I can understand the deposit, as your dog is inside one of the rentals on a regular basis and still poses a hazard to the carpeting/flooring. I don't get the monthly charge, but it's their building, their rules. Renter's rights won't protect you here.

Is the deposit refundable?

If I read your post correctly, you go to an apartment everyday for work, and now the apartment manager wants to charge you monthly pet rent?

He can only charge the person on the lease pet rent, and only if the pet is his/hers. The manager can't charge a visitor anything.

Just tell him no.
