Per the recent mandate:

Face coverings will be required in public areas, workplaces, public transportation, and in common walkways and elevators of offices and businesses, the department said. Exceptions include dining, drinking or participating in outdoor athletic activity that can be done with a distance between people of 6 feet.

I will make sure to keep this thread updated with a list of everyone who responds "yes" and "no".

"Yes" and "No" don't cover all the possibilities; you should have had a choice for "Other." I will continue to wear a mask inside public businesses and in somewhat congested outdoor areas (such as the farmer's market). I don't take public transportation. I do not intend to wear a mask every time I am outside but not actually "dining, drinking, or participating in athletic activity." For example, I think wearing a mask outside while sitting on a park bench, on a towel at the beach, or going to get the mail is ridiculous, but by the letter of the law this would be a requirement.

Yes I will, but I have noticed, you have to wear one to get inside a restaurant, but you can take it off, as soon as you sit down. Our local casino ( which has good food) mandates masks to enter, & will give free ones to those who have none, & the temperature check at the entry, but as soon as they sit at a machine, they are allowed to unmask, so I am not really sure what the point is.

My husband and I’ve been wearing them except to the pool and pickle ball court. Nothing to it.

For restaurants i think the idea is that you are coming in with a specific group of people that you have already come in contact with and are close with. You are allowed to unmask at the same table. But getting up and walking by other tables or two the restroom you should mask up as you are likely to come into <6 feet of someone that is not with your party. Not sure about casinos but it might be similar. I would guess with slots and card games for example, they probably have every other machine or seat unavailable.

Yes the amount of machines is reduced, but people sitting at them, do not have to wear a mask, but they are still breathing in & out. So you wear it to get through the front door, & then take it off. The air is all recirculated too.

I would say that goes under the "yes" category. The people that are "no's" are the type that have talked about walking into a public supermarket or costco and refused to wear a mask even when asked.

I didn't see what you are reporting.

Re: Outside - in lines, etc, and basically only when you can't social distance.
