Interestingly how it appears SF kept their beaches and Parks open throughout and never issued a hard closure where they are roped off completely. Closing them completely seems a knee jerk move by some parts of the state.
Nor did SF decide to crack down by citations/power trips since few are reported to be issued unlike Santa Cruz or some other cities and counties. I guess heavy handed tactics don’t work after all but that’s just my 2 cents from what I heard. I be curious for those living in SF are the media sources accurate.

The LA metro area has done far worse than the Bay Area overall and continues to do so.

Cases Per 100K
LA Metro (5 counties): 775

SF Metro (9 counties): 305


May Unemployment Rate by MSA:

Los Angeles: 19.1%
Riverside: 14.9%
San Francisco: 12.7%
San Jose: 11.2%

SF County: 12.6%
Orange County: 14.5%

San Francisco is far and away the densest city in US or Canada outside of NYC. So those numbers are AMAZING.
