There are fans of people you don't like all over the country, you can't run or hide from it and if you think you have you really don't know your neighbors. Not everyone likes signs.

I think he's a sociopath based on his actions and words, all of which can be found on video. The guy mocked a reporter with cerebral palsy and insulted John McCain for getting shot down during the Vietnam war. All on video, for Christ's sake.

I'm not going to compromise who I am and what I stand for, just to get my way. In Trump, the ends simply did not justify the means. The average Trump voter is just a modern day version of the average Nixon voter, explained below at 0:55:

He seems to be a SJW who hates Biden. Odd combo.

"An area that stands out in feeling the most traditionally American is Danville whose downtown was deserted on 4th of July, a sign of greater patriotism. Danville is fairly wealthy and White but also more culturally insular from San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. Danville is part of the broader Central Contra Costa County region which includes Walnut Creek and Lamorinda and is one of the most idyllic suburban regions in California, far removed from the problems of urban decay, with low crime and good schools."

Woke types seem to be divided between neoliberals (Harris) and Progressives (Bernie) with some overlap.

SJW? I took an oath for my job and deal with dirtbags and morons for a living. You don't seem very level headed and are a Trump voter, which is not an odd combo.

I'd agree that people tend to be less in your face here and you do get more of a mix of liberals and conservatives, which turns many people in the Bay Area off.

That said, Danville is changing and not necessarily for the better. It is getting more people who are in high tech and commute to the valley. Like us, they can't afford the type of house they want in a great school district elsewhere. Its becoming more transient and less friendly than before, but I think this is something you see across the Bay Area.
