I don't know, but Lisa Yan might.

Not everything is edible. We don’t want COVID-20 coming out of this.

Awful. Starfish were almost wiped out a few years ago due to a disease; I was thrilled to see some in tidepools along the central coast this summer. I suppose I am fortunate that I've never been so desperately broke that I steal and eat protected wildlife, but aren't there food banks for people who need something to eat?

You know things have really gotten dire when you go to a food bank and they start handing out starfish.

That stuff is fish bait at best.

I read that article as well and I didn't understand it one bit. Were they scouring the tide pools to sell the creatures they caught to salt water aquarium owners and pet stores or what? People in Cali aren't eating starfish for dinner.. as far as I know.

I have lived almost 84 years and never even thought about eating Starfish, I think I can go to my grave and not say I missed something I really wanted to try.

Probably would be a bad time for a whale to beach itself.
