No need for all these environmental regulatory complications we suffer with in California. Everyone knows that if people / corporations are granted freedom to do as they wish - what they will wish will always serve the greater good.

Eh?

I had no idea that DDT was used to combat malaria and typhus during WWII. It's amazing that despite warnings in the early 1950s that scientists didn't fully know how it interacted with the living world, it continued to be manufactured.

Thankfully, Richard Nixon stepped in and became the impetus for the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Amazing how Nixon had long been the benchmark of a terrible Republican President, due to the Watergate scandal. Yet, he did some sensible things during his presidency, including environmental protections. This all puts things into perspective when you see how Trump is trying to unravel everything in favor of unfettered capitalism. Its like the real life version of The Lorax.

Nixon even first advanced the proposal for a form of Universal Basic Income (on a recommended proposal from his chief economist Milton Friedman) ... which passed the Senate but failed in the House.

Yet he WAS a bonehead anyway

Interesting. There's another problem and maybe you hadn't heard of it. It was a story featured on either 60 Minutes or a documentary on PBS a few weeks back. I can't remember which but I did find a blurb online about it and have linked it below.

The story is about the raw sewage being dumped into the ocean, by way of the Tijuana River crossing over the border into the U.S. It's flowing into the ocean on the U.S. side of the border. It hasn't made big headlines so I'm not sure how or whether it's being addressed down that way. Other important matters have gobbled up news time, lately.

I do know is that the ocean has an immense power to rejuvenate itself but if this continues, it may end up spreading north, along the beaches and could be deadly for beach goers.

Have you heard anything about this?

The “sources” for the story are many, historically documented, and referenced for anybody (such as even you) to fact check. You are the one not checking sourcing. But then that fits your ideological membership.

Now back to your Q-Anon social media and Breitbart subscription.
