Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Manhattan Beach or Beverly Hills even though it's not a beach city? Which are liberal and which are conservative? I read that OC schools are not as good as LA schools.

So - nothing in San Diego makes the cut to be considered in the poll?

I should've mentioned that those are just my dream addresses.

This shouldnt have been a poll. Just a thread. Unless a specific reason why those four are listed. And yes, I would second Santa Barbara.

Usually a La Jolla vs Malibu debate with maybe some non-Hollywood wealthy LA people going to Palos Verdes. I would take La Jolla.

From the list above, I’d pick Manhattan Beach, then Newport Beach. Both are relatively conservative areas. The schools in Manhattan Beach are good.

I picked Manhattan first as I prefer to be closer to the amenities in LA County. I lived in Redondo Beach in the ‘90’s and enjoyed my time there. I still have some old friends living in the area and visit them when I get the chance to.

I love, love, Santa Barbara, but if you’re a beach goer there’s a few issues. First off is the the tar. You can’t walk the beach barefoot without your feet being getting some (or a lot) on them. The waves also suck in summer due to the Channel Islands blocking the swell.

Personally I’d take La Jolla (when factoring in surfing), but Coronado could be the best beach town in Southern California? With that said, I’m gonna go with Mutt’s choice of Honolulu.

From the choices given, Newport Beach. I know there’s was a Beverly Hills Beach Club on Beverly Hills, 90210 that Brandon worked at, but I wasn’t aware Beverly Hills is now considered a beach town??
