I was wondering if someone on here could tell me the difference from Albuquerque, New Mexico High Desert and the High Desert of China Lake area?

Thank you

I've been to the China Lake NAS a few times back in the 1990s on business and training. There isn't much out there and it is pretty far from anything. If you are married and enjoy an at-home lifestyle, then China Lake may work. I can't imagine a single person liking it too much. Ridgecrest is a lot smaller than Albuquerque.
