Also, about the hell part, I've been thinking about that a lot lately. To be honest, if all the people in heaven are as narrow-minded and ignorant as people like you, then I think it would be pretty boring and oppressive to spend eternity there. If I had the choice, I'd rather go to hell with all the gays, stem-cell research supporters, pro-choicers, and everyone else you Christians think are gonna go to hell. Come to think of it, heaven must be one of the most boring places in existence.

Nahhh...he didn't say that!! And you know that! Oh don't worry buddy, your reservation has already been made! Glad you'll like it!

Thank you so much for hooking that up for me you all-powerful Christian, you! The way I see it, comparing heaven to hell is like comparing an old folks home and Cancun, Mexico. And I love spring break, it's nice and hot with tons of booze and hook-ups. Hell definitely sounds like my type of place!

After this I don't think I need to make any further comments! My point is made ladies and gentlemen...

I used to believe that marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Then my daughter told me that she's bisexual. She has been in a committed relationship with her partner for over a year now. What business is it of anyone else's if they're allowed to get married?

Don't get me started on organized religion... This forum isn't the proper place, for one thing, and I tend to get pretty heated about it, for another.

It's not a choice, any more than the color of a person's eyes is a choice!

I just deleted a couple of anti-gay "jokes", because they're blatantly offensive and discriminatory. Sorry, folks, this forum is not the place for those.

I'm amazed at how many hateful people there are here. Does it really impact you that much for us to have some basic civil rights? Does it really harm you if we can now legally visit one another in the hospital if the other is dying? Does it have any impact on you for us to be legally recognized as partners by the state of California? I'm so deeply saddened and sickened that there are still so many people out there with such hatred toward us. Attitudes like these are what breed violence toward people like me.

How unfortunate that a site I visit to research places to live safely with my partner has proven to be yet another unsafe location for me to visit. This is sad.

Please don't think everyone feels that way. I'm very happy that they overturned the ban. I hope those that want to get married now can.
