I'd miss Death Valley/Joshua Tree NPs, but that's about it.

Death Valley is in Inyo County, so only half your heart would break. But this is just a funding beg and can't be taken seriously. Neither Arizona nor Nevada would be willing to take on dumps like San Bernardino (the city) and Victorville.

The vast majority of it, yes. The extreme southern part does extend into San Bernardino County, as well as a small triangular chunk that extends into Nevada. Fun fact: it's 3.3 MILLION acres and the largest National Park outside of Alaska.

It's like Slowjamastan, but for real.

Sometimes you have to give the extra dumb ones exactly what they want in order for them to see it wasn't what they wanted.

They can vote all the want. They can't secede, so what leverage does that give them.

The headline seems to be buried in the article. I had no idea San Bernardino is being neglected when it comes to state funding. As a Kern County resident I can somewhat sympathize.
