You're right. As a white person try walking through any inner city black neighborhood at night and you'll get a good dose of racism.

The screwy left thinks this racism name calling still works.

What do I expect?! You think I should expect to be assaulted by blacks? Perhaps because of slavery and racism carried out by my great grandfather? Nonsense. I expect civilized behavior from all. And I expect my family will act civilized towards all.

The chance of a white being assaulted by a black is something like 50 times the chance of a black being assaulted by a white. So where is the racism?

Well if you expect "civilized behavior from all" you're going to be constantly disappointed and upset.
Acceptance tends to be a more skillful approach.
And i don't know about your stats but don't be an entitled idiot and walk through an inner city neighborhood if you sense the potential for violence whether that neighborhood be predominantly black or white or hispanic, etc., etc..

I'm not fool enough to walk thru a black inner city neighborhood at night. On the other hand a black can walk thru just about any white neighborhood safely. So where is the racism?

Anyone and everyone who walks through a neighborhood where crime exists, (whether it's a predominantly black, white, hispanic, asian or whatever) is a potential victim.
If you, as a white person, walk through a predominantly white neighborhood where there is heavy crime, you aren't safe there either.
It's not about racism ... it's about poverty and crime and violence and guns and social ills, etc., etc., etc..
And yeah, there are countless white neighborhoods in this country where crime is not prevalent but where racism most certainly is and where a black person (or any person who isn't white) would not feel welcome and would not be welcome .... still !!! .... in 2009!!!

I took that comment to be financial, not racist.

And if every tax hike that's been proposed this year actually succeeds, probably true.

Name a predominantly white neighborhood with heavy crime. That is crime rates similar to those found in predominantly black or Mexican neighborhoods. Bet ya can't.
