My husband and I are moving to to southern California. We are interested in moving into a mobile home community in either orange county, los angeles county, inland empire, ventura area or santa barbara area. Can anyone suggest nice, clean mobile home communities that are located in any of the above-mentioned areas? We are open to all locations, so please feel free to give suggestions in all areas listed above; however, we would love to live in an area that is in a community or close to a community plentiful with arts, diverse culture, ethnic restaurants, and generally openminded people. Thank you in advance.

a friend of mine is trying to sell his mobile home currently in gardengrove off haster and the 22fwy. nice place, single wide, community pool. seems majority hispanic(dont know if that bothers you) but fairly safe. park across the street and plenty of ethnic restaurants in the area. culture and arts can be found all over coastal LA and OC counties.

not advertising, but if you like the area i could give you his email address

Default mobile home communities

I would also be interested in hearing about some good, know the word 'good' is every subjective, mobile home communities, preferably with club house, pool and not exclusive but one that would cater to seniors, located in Oxnard Plain area.

Thanks!

I wonder what the monthly space rents are? If anyone has knowledge, please post. I wouldn't be surprised if they were in the $800/mo range. And maybe without pools, club houses, etc.

While harder to find sometimes, a land owned mobile home would be better and solve most of the problems you mentioned here.

Default Mobile Home Parks in Orange County CA

Huntington Beach has several really nice senior parks, with space rents ranging from about $500 to about $1100. I sold my house in HB about 3 years ago and bought a brand new M/H in Huntington Shorecliffs at 20701 Beach Blvd. It's a great senior park, with three clubhouses, two pools and other nice amenities. There are about 300 spaces in the park, which is only a mile from the beach and within comfortable walking distance of all the amenities that Huntington Beach has to offer. In th mornings, you can hear the surf crashing loudly on the shoreline.

Are there any mobile homes for rent in Shorecliffs or other nice communities in HB?

Just met a retired couple from Baywood/Los Osos. They bought a space with an old trailer. Put a new trailer in it's spot and said they were into it for less than $250,000. total. No rent ! Out of the rat race !
